In appreciation of all the laning days I have put together,
producing routes and maps having done research through
GLASS,
Sandy insisted I take a holiday from organisation and allow him to
arrange a mooch in a different part of the country, somewhere
where neither of us have laned before - the
North Yorkshire Moors.

laning together, but armed with a few copies of
Total Off
Road and Landrover Owner (or similar), Sandy did a damn fine
job at leading the way.

Wednesday afternoon, we made our way to a campsite in Ugthorpe,
complete with pub grub and bar facilities.
Thursday morning we set off in the
general direction of the moors...
